WAYNESBORO – Washington Township Manager Vern Ashway advises that a contractor was to paint township roads starting Tuesday morning, Sept. 3. The work was expected to flow over into Wednesday depending on conditions.
This included more than 90 miles of roads for which the township is responsible. It did not include roads owned and maintained by other jurisdictions such as PennDOT. Ashway indicated the paint is very fast drying, and no major traffic delays were expected.
