BOONSBORO, Md. – The 4th Annual Boonsboro Food Truck Festival is set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 1, from noon to 6 p.m. at Shafer Memorial Park in Boonsboro.
The family-friendly event, organized by the Boonsboro Economic Development Commission, will feature live music on two stages, over 20 food trucks, and a variety of free activities for children.
Admission to the festival is free, and all children’s activities are offered at no cost. The event will proceed rain or shine.
Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of food options from the numerous food trucks, as well as an expanded craft beverage garden. Live music will be performed throughout the day, with Staff Infection playing at the Bandstand from 2-3:30 p.m. and 4:30-6 p.m.
The festival will also host a corn hole tournament, sponsored by Boonsboro Athletic Boosters, Inc., with registration from 12-12:30 p.m. and the tournament beginning at 1 p.m.
Children’s activities include face painting by Pixie Dust Creations, a music workshop with Tony M., hula hoop fun with Soolah Houps, a game court, big wheel obstacle course, and inflatable archery. Additionally, Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters will provide a reptile demonstration, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a K9 demonstration.
Parking will be available in Shafer Park, with entrances off Main Street and Potomac Street. Scouts BSA Troop 2119 will manage parking as a fundraiser, with a suggested donation of $5. The Boonsboro Food Truck Festival aims to bring the community together for a day of entertainment, good food, and family fun.
