BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT — Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church will host a free community event called “Joy on the Mountain” on from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The family-friendly gathering will take place at 14753 Charmian Rd., Blue Ridge Summit.
The event offers an afternoon filled with entertainment and activities for all ages. Events will include Attendees a puppet show and live music performed by the band “Second Chances.” For the more active participants, a bounce house and waterslide will be available, along with various games offering prizes.
The church will provide complimentary refreshments, including hot dogs and hamburgers. The organizers have emphasized that the entire event is open to the whole family, making it an option for community members seeking weekend entertainment.
