HAGERSTOWN, MD- The 2024 Waynesboro Area Cancer Auction (WACA) has once again proven to be a resounding success, raising over $120,000 for local cancer patients and support organizations. This year, Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc., based in Hagerstown, MD, was selected as one of the donation recipients, receiving a generous $25,000 check to support their mission.

Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc., provides free early detection and after-diagnosis support programs to individuals in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The $25,000 donation will significantly impact their ability to continue their mission and ensure that “No One Fights Alone.”

In addition to the auction, Breast Cancer Awareness, Inc. recently held its Annual Pink Happy Hour Fundraiser, which set a new record. With the help of God’s Grace Fund, a generous matching donor, the organization raised an impressive $31,417. This matching donation effectively doubled the impact of each contribution, further bolstering the organization’s resources.
