Olivia is a smart, fun-loving girl that will need a strong leader. She came into the shelter as a stray and we think she’s a lab/terrier mix who is about a year old. Olivia knows sit, shake, and sometimes down. She is an active, playful, sometimes stubborn girl. She is treat motivated and wants to please, but can be stubborn at times. She loves to go to the play yard and run! Olivia does jump when excited and will need someone that can work with her on this and learning other manners. Due to this an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Olivia does have a high chase drive and does not seem to care for the company of other dogs so being the only pet in the home may be best for Olivia. Phoenix was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a 3-year-old German Shepherd who can be quite nervous at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s quite a lovebug who enjoys going on walks and getting treats. Phoenix knows sit, lie down, come, and paw. He did get along with other dogs per his previous owner. He also loves to play chase the stick! Phoenix is not in our adoption area at this time because of his nervousness and will be shown to potential adopters with approved applications. He would love to find his second chance soon!
