CHAMBERSBURG- Monday, April 15, the Franklin County Stop Hopper on-demand shuttle service will now include Fayetteville as part of its service zone. This expansion was made possible through the support of the Franklin County IMPACT! Grant program.

The Stop Hopper service operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., providing residents with a flexible and convenient transportation option. Customers can use a smartphone app to request a ride to and from any location within the service zone boundaries.

The Stop Hopper app provides users with an estimated pick-up time, real-time tracking of their ride, and an alert when the vehicle arrives. The service costs $2.00 per one-way trip, and is free for seniors with a registered Free Fare ID card. To use the Stop Hopper service, customers can download the app through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
