WAYNESBORO- Waynesboro Area Senior High School is set to enchant audiences with their production of “Into the Woods,” a musical masterpiece featuring music by Stephen Sondheim and a captivating storyline by James Lapine.
This theatrical gem intricately weaves together classic fairy tales, offering a unique twist where Act 1 concludes with the characters enjoying their traditional happy endings, only to reveal the consequences of their actions in Act 2. Exploring profound themes of love, loss, hopes, and curses, the show promises a thought-provoking and emotionally rich experience for all.
Scheduled performances are on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 17 at 2 PM.
