HARRISBURG- Senator Doug Mastriano recently hosted a ceremony at Soldier’s Grove behind the state Capitol in Harrisburg to remember and recognize the heroic sacrifices made by U.S. military men and women during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Operation Enduring Freedom was the U.S.-led military response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Participants in the ceremony included Senator Devlin Robinson, Senator Tracy Pennycuick, Senator Greg Rothman, Representative Dane Watro, Lieutenant Colonel Schaun Myers, and the Pennsylvania National Guard Ceremonial Band.

The ceremony was a moving tribute to the men and women who served in Operation Enduring Freedom. It was an opportunity to remember their sacrifices and to thank them for their service.
