Area businesses celebrate with ribbon cutting ceremonies

CHAMBERSBURG- Three area businesses are celebrating their grand openings or new additions with ribbon cutting ceremonies in the coming weeks.

Chambersburg Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 7 from 12 to 1 p.m. at 1070 Stouffer Avenue in Chambersburg. The event celebrated the new ownership and management of the facility, and included light refreshments and tours.

Blackjacket Munitions held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, September 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1398 Buchanan Trail in Greencastle. The event celebrated the opening of the sporting goods section of the store, which features archery, hunting and fishing supplies, and outdoor apparel. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 10 a.m.

First Start Partnerships for Children & Families will hold a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Early Learning Center on Thursday, September 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 2071 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg. The Early Learning Center is located in the old Lincoln Lanes building.

In addition to these three businesses, Chatty Chameleon in Greencastle will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new studio on Saturday, September 23 at 12 p.m. The studio offers a variety of artistic projects for all ages, including paint your own pottery, glass fusion, pysanky, jewelry, and picture frames.

The community is invited to attend all of these ribbon cutting ceremonies to show their support for these local businesses.
