FREDERICK, MD- The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Maryland released their April in person events. These events are for patients, care givers, friends and family. All events are free and require registration.

DEMENTIA GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP – in-person in Frederick, once a week for 6 weeks, Wednesdays 1:30-3 p.m. The dementia journey is so challenging with losses along the way, and thus this is a unique type of grieving. This group will offer support, tips and reflections to help you unpack this special grief and more.

4/19 – Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors 1 PM at the Middletown Library 
4/19 – Dementia Conversations 3:30 PM at BrightView Westminster Ridge
5/1 – 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s – 5:30 PM at LaVale Library
5/3 – Healthy Living for Your Brain & Body 10:30 AM at Walkersville Library
