WAYNESBORO- The Rotary Club of Waynesboro submitted the following club news:

Our own Tracy Holliday noted this mission statement in her talk on The Institute (formerly known as Renfrew Institute for Cultural & Environmental Studies). Tracy, the Executive Director of The Institute, began her association with the organization as a volunteer in 1992. She  joined the staff in 1996 and rose through the ranks to the top leadership position.  Now settled in its new location, the Institute is growing, adjusting, planning  and improving its new home. The 3 full time and 11 part time staff members are working with volunteers to continue the many programs it has offered over the last 30 years. While the new site is marvelous,  there are always needed improvements such as a new bridge, and expansion of the headquarters among other items. The Institute has raised over $2.5 million in gifts and pledges for the needed modifications.
