WAYNESBORO—Rotary Club of Waynesboro’s annual event, Battle of the Minds, held in September, has raised $8,016 for The Institute.

Battle of the Minds is a trivia event where teams compete to raise funds for local community organizations. The event includes a silent auction, live auction and dinner.

This year’s contest drew 182 participants.

Earnings are split 50/50 with a co-sponsor—this year was The Institute. Past co-sponsors have included Easter Seals, the Waynesboro Day Care Center, the YMCA and Waynesboro Community and Human Services.

Next year’s event will be Sept. 29, 2022 at Green Grove Gardens.
