The Waynesboro Stallions have conquered every challenge they’ve faced in Capital Football Association Youth Football League play this season.
In fact, the Stallions have hardly been challenged at all.
Waynesboro’s dominant Midget squad ran its record to 5-0 last weekend with its fourth shutout of the season, a 26-0 whitewashing over Northern. The Stallions, who have outscored their competition 126-13, seem to be on a collision course with West Perry (5-0) to play for a Federal Conference Division 3 championship in the final week of the season.
Waynesboro’s Ponies have been no slouches, currently residing in third place.
Two of three Chambersburg Trojan teams hold shares of first place in the top-tier National Conference. Chambersburg’s Pony team is 4-1 and pasting its opponents by a 108-31 score, while the Trojan Midgets are off to a 3-2 start.
Finally, the transition from the Liberty Conference to the Federal has not been easy for Fairfield, but the Knights took a big step forward with an undefeated weekend over Hershey. Fairfield’s Peewee team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 6-6 draw, while the Pony (28-0) and Midget (22-6) teams earned victories to break out of two-game losing skids.
