STATE COLLEGE—As rain and snow moves out of the area, the National Weather Service at State College has issued a wind advisory from 10 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m. this evening, Monday, Jan. 17.
According to the NWS, west winds at 14 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph can be expected throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and tree limbs could be blown down. Power outages could result.
Secure outdoor objects and use caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
