CHAMBERSBURG – Wilson College is celebrating four outstanding members of its community with the 2025 Alumni Association awards, recognizing their achievements, leadership and connection to the college’s enduring mission.
Taylor Huntley, Class of 2017, received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Huntley, a Special Olympics certified coach, balances her time between teaching and managing a facility. She credited Wilson’s dual-degree program and supportive community for helping her rebuild a center from the ground up.
Jennifer Nickle Banzhof, Class of 1994, earned the Tift Award. Reflecting on her Wilson experience, Banzhof said the college transformed her life, providing both education and belonging.
The Distinguished Alumna Award went to Carole L. Stoehr Ashbridge, Class of 1970. Ashbridge praised the education, friendships and influence of her professors, noting that Wilson empowered her to “take on the world.”
The Faculty Award recognized David True, Ph.D., former associate professor of religion. True taught at Wilson from 2003 to 2022, receiving the Donald F. Bletz Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2016 and directing the Orr Forum lecture series during his tenure.
The Alumni Association commended each honoree for carrying forward Wilson College’s values and spirit of service.
