CHAMBERSBURG – The ArtsFest Committee at Wilson College is now accepting proposals for participation in ArtsFest 2026, scheduled to take place Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10.
ArtsFest is a dynamic, multi-day celebration of creativity and community, evolving from Wilson College’s traditional Arts Day. Since its reimagining in 2023, ArtsFest has grown into a signature event for Franklin County and the surrounding region, showcasing exceptional art, artists, and artistic experiences. In 2025, the festival expanded its reach to include international artists, art, and art-making opportunities that provide interdisciplinary programming, foster meaningful connections and inspire positive change through the arts.
This year, ArtsFest 2026 will explore the theme “ART IS… EXPERIMENTATION.” The committee is seeking visual, performing, and literary artists and arts educators from Chambersburg and neighboring areas who are interested in sharing their work, expertise, and creative vision during this week-long event. Proposed activities may include presentations, readings, performances, workshops, exhibitions, immersive experiences, or other arts-based formats.
Individuals interested in submitting a proposal should do so by Nov. 8, through the ArtsFest webpage at www.wilson.edu/artsfest. All ideas are welcome, and the committee is available to assist applicants in developing their concepts. While proposals should be self-supported financially, limited funding may be available on a case-by-case basis.
ArtsFest 2026 promises to be an inspiring and inclusive celebration of artistic experimentation. Help make it an unforgettable experience for the Wilson College campus and community.
