WAYNESBORO – This weekend, the Waynesboro Theatre at 75 W. Main St. is the place to be for entertainment lovers of all kinds! Kick off Friday night with a bang as local favorite Lucky Punk takes the spotlight on the theatre’s newly built stage, promising an electrifying live concert experience.
The excitement continues Saturday with the chilling thriller “Final Destination: Bloodlines,” and wraps up Sunday afternoon with the sci-fi classic “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”
Friday, May 30, 7 p.m. “Lucky Punk Live in Concert”
Saturday, May 31, 7 p.m. “Final Destination: Bloodlines” (R 1:50) Plagued by a violent and recurring nightmare, a college student heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle of death and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
Sunday, June 1, 4 p.m. “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” (R 2:15) Science fiction adventure about a group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) witnesses an unidentified flying object, and even has a “sunburn” from its bright lights to prove it. Roy refuses to accept an explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up his life to pursue the truth about UFOs.
