WAYNESBORO – The Waynesboro Area YMCA is making a final push to raise $350,000 for critical repairs to preserve its community pool, with just $27,000 left to reach the target. The campaign, which has already collected $323,600 through generous community donations.
The pool, a vital resource for local families, swim teams and fitness enthusiasts, faces closure without these essential upgrades. The YMCA urges supporters to donate through its website or share the campaign to rally more “lifesavers.” Those who have already contributed are thanked for keeping the pool – and the community – afloat.
