WAYNESBORO – The Waynesboro Area YMCA is offering Discovery Camps to provide children with positive and fun experiences that build confidence and a feeling of independence.
The camps offer a range of activities, including STEM Explorations, Music & Me, and Wacky Science.
STEM Explorations is a program that lets children explore, ask questions, experiment, and find answers through science, technology, engineering, and math. The program is available for children aged 3-5 years. The cost is $30 for members and $45 for non-members. The program is held on Mondays from 4:30-5:00 p.m. for 3-5-year-olds and from 5:10-5:50 p.m. for grades K-2.
Music & Me is a program that provides children with a time to play music, sing, and move to the beat. Children can learn to play and explore instruments and different types of music. The program is available for children aged 3-5 years and costs $25 for members and $40 for non-members. The program is held on Thursdays from 4:30-5:00 pm.
