WAYNESBORO – Waynesboro police are seeking the public’s help in finding the man pictured who picked up a wallet dropped unknowingly by an elderly gentleman on the evening of June 7 in the Martins Food Store parking lot just prior to entering the store.
Store video captures this unidentified male retrieving the wallet from the parking lot, then entering his vehicle and driving away. The unidentified male appears to be driving a white Fiat 124 convertible coupe with unknown registration (see attached photo). The wallet did contain the owner’s driver’s license.
So far, the wallet has not been returned to its owner, nor handed over to Martins Food Store or local law enforcement. The Waynesboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify this unknown male (see attached photo).
