WAYNESBORO. – The festive spirit arrived early at the Waynesboro American Legion Post 15 as it hosted the “Santa’s Little Helper” Indoor Craft Market on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The event, which ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., was held in the Legion’s ballroom. It offered local residents an opportunity to purchase handmade gifts while supporting area artisans.
The market featured 20 local vendors, including JDL Handmade Crafts, which displayed its goods throughout the day. Shoppers browsed a variety of seasonal and handcrafted items, helping to kick off the holiday shopping season in the downtown Waynesboro area.
Organizers reported a steady stream of patrons throughout the afternoon. Vendors were permitted to set up beginning at 8:30 a.m. using both the front and back doors of the building. The craft market successfully brought together the community for a day of holiday cheer and local commerce.
