WAYNESBORO – On Tuesday evening, Aug. 26, the Waynesboro Police Department, with the support of the Franklin County Drug Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police, conducted a saturated patrol throughout the Borough of Waynesboro.
A total of 45 calls or incidents were handled during this detail, police reported. Multiple traffic warnings and citations were issued. Warrant services were executed. K-9 deployments were used. No drug-related cases were documented. One subject was taken into custody and transported to Franklin County Jail.
Officers said these patrols are conducted to increase visibility, deter crime and keep the community safe.
