WAYNESBORO — Waynesboro Area Senior High School will host its annual community night on Friday, Aug. 18, to kick off the 2023-2024 school, athletic and band seasons.
The event will take place at Buchanan Auto Park Stadium starting at 6 p.m. All fall athletes will be on the turf field with games and skills competitions from each team. Students, parents and fans are encouraged to come onto the field and participate and meet the teams and coaches.
Free hot dogs and water will be provided. The band and cheer will be performing their halftime shows at 6:45 p.m. with assistance from the youth cheerleaders.
The event is a great way to get a jump start on the fall season and to support the Waynesboro Area School District.
