The Pennsylvania Classic State Gymnastics Championships took place Feb. 21-22 at Huntingdon Area High School, featuring top teams from across the state competing in various divisions. In the Silver Division team competition on Friday, the Waynesboro Area Senior High School (WASHS) gymnastics team, seeded third out of four teams, secured a second-place finish with a score of 134.9. West Allegheny claimed the top spot with a score of 135.825. The individual competition followed on Saturday, with gymnasts who had achieved qualifying scores during the regular season vying for state honors.
