HAGERSTOWN – Looking for an opportunity to discover new literature and get creative while doing it? The Book Carnival may be the perfect event for you! The Washington County Free Library in downtown Hagerstown is soon to host its first Book Carnival.
With a variety of activities planned, the book carnival is a great opportunity to connect with your community, find new books and get creative!
Among the activities planned are book face photos, bookmark decorating and book “tastings.” Book tastings offer a unique opportunity to sample a variety of new books and check them out if you would like. Games such as foam axe throwing, Jenga and bean bag toss are also planned for attendees along with light snacks and drinks.
This event is set to take place on Saturday, July 12 at 1 p.m. inside the community room 308/309 at the Fletcher library branch at 100 S. Potomac St.
