Michael Stewart rushed for 185 yards and Ty’Qwell Fauntleroy added 140 yards to make up 90% of the Hubs’ ground attack. … Stewart scored on runs of 65 and 3 yards, while Fauntleroy added a 5-yard scoring run. … North jumped out to an early 15-0 lead … Taiserion Gilliam also scored on a 1-yard run, capping a 97-yard drive in the before halftime. … Manchester Valley trailed the whole game against Hereford, but closed the gap to 15-14 with about 1 minute to go in the third quarter. Hereford scored before the end of the period to close the scoring. … Manchester allowed Hereford’s JaQuan Burton to rush for 198 yards and two TDs in their season-opening loss. Brad Chelden also ran for a TD.

Lawrence returned to the sideline after spending a number of years at South Hagerstown … Smithsburg’s ground game and defense played well in the opener … All three Smithsburg TDs were on rushes. Luke Scott, Zach Linn and Nicolas Roncone all ran for scores. Roncone also had a two-point conversion. … Scott hit on 4 of 8 passed for 109 yards, including a 55-yard completion .. Linn led the Leopards with 86 yards rushing and the TD and caught the 55-yard pass. … Scott also had 13 tackles on defense …The defense turned big plays to help secure the win. Jaxon Dodson and Scott had interceptions, while Cayden Nesbitt recovered a fumble. James Hare kept FSK off the scoreboard by blocking a field goal attempt. … Williamsport took control early and led 21-0 at the half and led 27-0 before Brunswick scored … Returning quarterback Gabe Parker efficiently ran the show, connecting on 12 of 16 passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns. … Jordan Wigfall caught three passes for 100 yards and two TDs. … Kemiko Herron grabbed a 20-yard scoring pass.

Simms weaved through Century’s defense for the score … South played two QBs in the game – Ocasio and Landon Greever … Ocasio connected on 7 of 10 passes for 133 yards and the TD, but had two interceptions. Greever went 6 for 17 for 83 yards. They were sacked five times. … Simms had a big night with six catches for 135 yards and the touchdown. … South workhorse back JoJo Davies rushed for 55 yards on just nine carries. He also caught two passes for 24 yards and scored a two-point conversion. … South’s defense allowed Century to amass 337 yards and four touchdowns. The Rebels recovered two fumbles.

Defensively, he had six tackles, including two for losses, and an Interception. … Camdon Whittington ran 59 yards for a TD … Quarterback Brady Fogle passed for 87 yards and a TD on 12 if 20 passes. … Kicker Colton Grossnickle made a 30-yard field goal and scored three extra points. … Kyle Moore led Berkeley Springs to its first win with three touchdowns. He ran for scores of 25 and 40 yards and added a score on a 50-yard punt return. … The Indians led 13-0 after one quarter before closing the game by scoring the final 25 points. … Berkeley Springs bounced back after a 56-13 loss to Petersburg to open the season.

The Rams roster fell to 17 players. The remaining players after the cancellation were allowed to play on the JV team … New Rams coach Dave McLaughlin has 22 varsity players on the 2025 roster. … Southern’s fortunes turned early against Mountain Ridge when a punt ending the opening drive was blocked, leading to the Miners first touchdown, before a fumble ended the second drive. … The Rams held Mountain Ridge to just nine rushing yards.
