WAYNESBORO, Pa. –Gallery 50 hosts an opening reception for its 13-artist exhibition, “A Baker’s Dozen,” on Friday, Nov. 6 from 5:30–8 p.m. at 50 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro, PA. The evening showcases new artwork and includes free refreshments and live music by Celtic band Across the Pond in the adjacent Music Makers space.
The featured artists are Patricia Boyst, Robb Helfrick, Seth Holmes, Christine Lehman, Leslie McEntire, Sarah Maclay, Nancy Neslund, Betsy Rodden, David Satchell, Maura Satchell, Gloria Walker, Steve Wetzel, and Marti Yeager, who is also Gallery 50’s curator.
“Our new exhibit is perfect for holiday shopping. The artists specialize in watercolor, oil, airbrush, and more — bringing landscapes, still life, town scenes, and abstract art to life,” said Yeager.
“It’s especially exciting to spotlight so many artists at Gallery 50 for one show. Just as a baker’s dozen contains a variety of flavors, this exhibit features 13 varieties of artwork!”
The gallery shelves will also be stocked with gift-worthy creations by local artists, including: pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, books, and more.
Following the reception, the exhibition will be on display through January 30. Gallery 50 is open Fridays from 5-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The exhibition will soon be available for browsing and shopping on the gallery’s online shop: gallery50-aagw.square.site
