ROUZERVILLE—Before he hitches up the reindeer for the Christmas Eve run, Santa will make a stop at Red Run Park in Washington Township.
Washington Township Police and the Washington Township Police Association will be host the Red Run Santa Express on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Red Run Park, 12143 Buchanan Trail East.
Train rides will be available to kids of all ages and Santa will pose for photos.
“We are excited to offer this wonderful free event to our community again this year,” said Cindy Broas, officer manager for Washington Township Police Department. “We were not able to host the event last year and are really looking forward to getting back out in the community to meet some new faces and say ‘hi’ to many familiar faces.”
Broas said it’s thanks to community volunteers and donors that the free event can take place.
“We can’t pull these types of events off without great donations and volunteers from the community,” she said. “We are very thankful for all of the support we receive. We can’t wait to see everybody at the Red Run Santa Express.”
