WAYNESBORO – The Church of the Apostles, UCC, will host a series of free Sunday evening concerts at The Pavilion, located at 336 Barnett Ave., beginning July 27. The concerts, which start at 6 p.m., are open to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
The summer series kicks off July 27 with Mountain Air, a duo known for guitar, mandolin and vocal harmony. Their performance will feature acoustic, contemporary, folk, and pop country music.
On Aug. 10, the Scott Day Band will take the stage, offering contemporary Christian music with styles ranging from rock and pop to jazz and blues.
The series concludes Aug. 24 with Jeremy Goodling, who will present Christian music, including Southern Gospel, contemporary hymns, praise and worship.
Organizers invite the community to attend and enjoy a variety of musical styles in a welcoming outdoor setting. Guests are encouraged to invite friends and family for an evening of music and fellowship.
