WAYNESBORO – Waynesboro Area School District student Anisa Minnich secured first place in the Regional Tournament at The Lincoln Intermediate Unit on March 18 for her public service announcement film. This marks Minnich’s third consecutive year winning a regional competition event.
Minnich will now advance to the state competition at Elizabethtown University on May 21. She has previously placed third at the state level for two consecutive years.
The young filmmaker’s consistent success highlights her growing expertise in creating impactful public service announcements, school district officials noted. Her ability to convey important messages through film has earned her recognition at both regional and state levels.
As Minnich prepares for the upcoming state competition, she carries the hopes of her school district and the momentum of her recent victory, school officials said. Her track record suggests she is a strong contender for top honors at the state level, officials added.
