SMITHSBURG – Claire Bono hit nine baskets, including three 3s, to notch 23 points on Friday and lead Smithsburg to a 83-36 win over Francis Scott Key.
The Leopards remain undefeated and look destined to be a No. 1 seed in the Maryland Class 1A West bracket.
Bono added five rebounds, three assists and four steals to her stat sheet.
Jayda Tyler backed Bono with 14 points and five rebounds. Kara Hoover added 13 points and three assists, while Skyla Mastronardi finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
