SMITHSBURG – Jacob Tyler led five Smithsburg players in double figures with 18 points on Tuesday in a 72-47 win over Clear Spring.
Camden Zeigler posted a big game with 15 points and a team-leading 10 rebounds as the Leopards eased their way to victory.
James Hare had 13 points, while Noah Hegbe added 11 and Jaxon Teson had 10 to as the five players accounted for 67 of the Leopards’ points.
Urbana 73, South Hagerstown 38
URBANA, Md. – Luke Leisinger led the Rebels with 10 points and six rebounds on Monday in a loss against Urbana.

Aniya Freeman broke loose for 22 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough on Tuesday as the Rebels fell to Urbana.
Four of Freeman’s rebounds were off the offensive glass and she added five steals and five blocks.
Khloe Terralonge added five points with five rebounds and four steals. Kristen Gyamfi had five points and nine rebounds with a pair of steals for South.
Diamond Lloyd scored six points.

Shepherd sweeps Chowan
MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Shepherd University move to 3-0 on the season on Tuesday with a 15-10, 9-4 doubleheader sweep over Chowan.
The Rams took the early lead with two runs in the first inning in the opener on a double steal and an RBI double by designated hitter Colin Ahart.
Shepherd blew the game open with a four-run second inning for 6-1 lead, highlighted by a two-run homer by Alex Rose.
The Rams took a 6-1 lead in with four runs in the second. Outfielder Alex Rose highlighted the rally with a two-run homer.
Chowan battled back to take a 8-7 lead in the fourth before the Rams took control with four runs in the sixth for a 12-9 lead before salting the win away with three runs in the seventh.
Ethan Jones led the Rams with a hit and two RBIs with three runs scored.
The Rams took a 3-0 lead in the first inning of the nightcap on a two-run single by Ahart and a double by Jones.
Shepherd upped the lead to 6-0 in the second as Ryan Fluharty ripped a two-run double.
Fluharty went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored to pace the Rams in the nightcap.
Pitcher Tre Rex collected eight strikeouts in three innings to get the win.
