Shepherd 83, Frostburg 105
FROSTBURG, Md. – Mike Montana scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Frostburg State to a 105-83 win over Shepherd University on Wednesday.
Freshman guard Colby White scored a game-high 31 points to pace the Rams (3-2). He was 11-of-20 from the floor with a 7-of-11 effort from three-point range.
Guard Marcus Banks added 19 points and a game-high seven assists for the Rams, while forward Daouda Traore was also in double figures with 10 points.
Frostburg State had a 50-37 lead at the half.

Shepherd 74, Point Park 52
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Forward Lamaria scored a game-high 23 points to lead Shepherd over Point Park (2-1) at the Butcher Center on Wednesday.
Estridge was 10-of-22 from the floor with a 3-of-8 effort from three-point range to pace the Rams (2-2).
Forward Vilte Kacerauskaite added 10 points, while forward Summer Shackelford had eight points, and a team-high seven boards.
The Pioneers had a 58-39 rebounding edge. Shepherd forced 29 turnovers and committed 6.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Shepherd Trio Gains D2CCA All-Region Honors
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Three members of the Shepherd University women’s soccer team have been named to the 2025 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association Women’s Soccer All-Atlantic Region Team.
Midfielder Reagan Ackermann was selected to the first team, while midfielder Josie Beezel and defender Adrianna Morales were second team selections.
Ackermann has eight goals and eight assists, including a pair of game-winning goals on the season.
Morales had four assists on the season, while anchoring a Shepherd defense that recorded nine shutouts and allowed just one goal in eight other games.
Beezel tallied eight goals and nine assists and leads the team with three game-winning goals.
Top-seeded Shepherd (12-1-6) will host second-seeded West Chester (15-2-4) in the Atlantic Region title game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Five Rams earn CSC Academic All-District honors
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Five members of the Shepherd University women’s soccer team have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Midfielder Reagan Ackermann, forward Merritt Delk, midfielder Taylor Schuck, goalkeeper Hannah Wilt and midfielder Annabelle Wunderlich were included on the team.
Ackermann has eight goals and eight assists and has a pair of game-winning goals. She has a 3.64 grade point average as a biology major.
Delk has nine goals and seven assists, including a pair of game-winning goals on the season. She boasts a 3.90 GPA as an applied mathematics and data science major.
Schuck has three goals, including a game-winning goal on the year. She has a 4.00 grade point average as a nursing major.
Wilt has 45 saves and allowed 0.67 goals per game. She recorded eight shutouts this season Wilt has a 3.86 GPA as a health promotion and exercise science major.
Wunderlich has three goals and five assists with a pair of game-winning goals. She boasts a 3.55 GPA as a nursing major.
MEN’S SOCCER
Petty earns All-Region Honors
ATHENS, W.Va. – Shepherd University forward Joshua Petty was named to the first team of the 2025 D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Men’s Soccer Team.
Petty scored 12 goals and assisted on three others, including four game-winning goals, tops in the PSAC in 2025.
The Rams completed the 2025 season with a 6-11-0 overall mark.
