WAYNESBORO – Santa Claus exchanged his traditional sleigh for a motorcycle Saturday morning as Waynesboro celebrated its annual Christmas in July. Riders and reindeer enthusiasts joined the Summer Santa Ride, hosted by Mainstreet Waynesboro and the Monterey Pass Chapter of ABATE of PA, kicking off at 10 a.m. in the Waynesboro Apothecary parking lot.
The event aimed to raise funds for downtown revitalization, drawing both locals and visitors into the heart of the city. Santa greeted families and posed for photos at Market at the Park from 8:30 a.m. to noon, adding festive midsummer spirit.
The celebration also featured free one-hour parking and special deals at local shops and restaurants, rounding out a day full of holiday fun and community camaraderie.
