WILLIAMSPORT, Md. – South Hagerstown, coming off a big win over North Hagerstown, pushed Williamsport to the limit on Monday before getting turned back 73-65 in overtime in a Washington County boys basketball game.
Naz Mitchell continued his current hot scoring streak with 25 points and three assists to lead the Rebels.
The game was tied at 60-60 after regulation.
South’s Avery Cosley had eight points but did yeoman work on the boards with 18 rebounds. Percell Clay added 13 rebound for South.

Smithsburg 63, Liberty 60
SYKESVILLE, Md. – Jacob Tyler led a trio of Leopards in double figures with 18 points in a victory over Liberty.
Camden Zeigler and James Hare each had 15 points for Smithsburg. Hare also pulled down eight rebounds.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Williamsport 67, South Hagerstown 16
Khloe Terralonge provided the brunt of the offense with 11 points to lead the Rebels in a loss to the Wildcats.
Terralonge added two rebounds and two steals.
Ellyana Barnes had three rebound for South, while Demeria Mitchell and Diamond Lloyd each had two steals each
