Road resurfacing to begin July 27 on Route 75, to be completed next April

PATH VALLEY, Pa. — A pavement repair and resurfacing project is scheduled to begin July 27 on a five-mile section of Route 75 (Path Valley Road) between Route 641 (Spring Run Road) and Goshorn Road in the area known as Path Valley in Fannett Township, Franklin County.

Weather permitting, prep work will begin on Monday, July 27. There will be lane restrictions under flagging on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

This project consists of roadway milling and resurfacing, minor drainage improvements and other miscellaneous construction.

Drivers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.

P&W Excavating, Inc., of McConnellsburg, PA, is the contractor for this $2.6 million highway resurfacing project. All work on this contract is expected to be completed by April 30, 2027.
