WAYNESBORO – Renfrew Museum & Park welcomed visitors to its 10th Annual Oktoberfest on Sept. 27, transforming the historic farmstead into a vibrant celebration of German heritage and autumn harvest.
The event, held from noon to 5 p.m., drew attendees to the scenic grounds, where they experienced live traditional music, full tours of the 1812 Royer House and demonstrations of historic trades. Organizers honored the German roots of the Royer family, who once worked the land, infusing the gathering with a unique period feel.
Admission included access to a silent auction, family fun area, farmstead activities and vendors. Guests relaxed in a fenced, tented Biergarten, sampling local craft beer offerings amid the fall views.
The fundraiser provided a family-friendly atmosphere, blending history and seasonal festivities for all ages.
