WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Renfrew Museum and Park welcomed visitors Saturday for its 11th annual Oktoberfest fundraiser, a family-friendly event that combined local history, harvest traditions and seasonal entertainment.
The event was held at the historic farmstead, where attendees took part in activities throughout the afternoon.
Admission included live traditional music, tours of the 1812 Royer House, historic trade demonstrations, farmstead activities, vendors and a family fun area. The celebration recognized the German roots of the Royer family, which worked the land that is now home to Renfrew Museum and Park.
Visitors also had the opportunity to bid on items during a silent auction.
Adults age 21 and older gathered in the fenced and tented Biergarten, where local craft beer offerings were available.
The annual fundraiser supported Renfrew Museum and Park and provided an opportunity for community members to experience the historic property while celebrating the fall season.
