WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A reported shooting prompted a significant emergency response Tuesday evening outside Waynesboro, with multiple roads closed in the village of Zullinger.
Dispatch confirmed the incident was reported around 6:17 p.m. in the 12000 block of Skyhawk Drive, near Buchanan Trail East. First responders, including fire police, secured the area and shut down traffic at Skyhawk and Redhawk drives as crews worked the scene.
A medical helicopter was observed nearby, though officials had not confirmed injuries as of late Tuesday. Authorities advised the public to avoid the area as the situation remained under investigation.
