FAYETTEVILLE – Totem Pole Playhouse will transform into a lively cruise ship piano bar for one day this July, as Brady and Caroline’s Piano Bar brings its signature blend of music, humor and audience interaction to the stage.
On Tuesday, July 8, two performances – a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7:30 p.m. evening show – will take place as part of the Tucked Away Tuesdays series. The duo, real-life best friends Brady Wease and Caroline Hanks, promise to deliver a nostalgic journey through the ’70s and ’80s, with yacht rock classics, disco anthems and plenty of sing-along moments.
The show is designed to feel like a cruise ship party, complete with audience requests and witty banter. “It’s upbeat, offbeat, and designed to feel like a vacation without the travel,” said Producing Artistic Director Ryan B. Gibbs.
Audiences have praised the chemistry between the performers and the show’s energetic atmosphere, comparing it to a cruise ship experience in the heart of the woods. Tickets are available at totempoleplayhouse.org or by calling the Box Office at 717-352-2164. The shows are expected to sell out quickly.
