FAYETTEVILLE— Totem Pole Playhouse is set to transform into a lively cruise ship piano bar for one day only as “Brady and Caroline’s Piano Bar” comes ashore on Tuesday, July 8. The show, part of the Tucked Away Tuesdays series, offers two performances at 2 and 7:30 p.m., promising an interactive musical celebration filled with nostalgia, laughter, and audience participation.
Real-life best friends Brady Wease and Caroline Hanks will take the stage, channeling the energy of a classic cruise ship lounge with a setlist spanning yacht rock classics to disco anthems from the ‘70s and ‘80s. The duo’s dynamic chemistry and crowd-pleasing charm invite the audience to sing along, make requests, and enjoy a night reminiscent of an unforgettable evening on Deck 7.
“You blink, and suddenly you’re at a piano bar in the middle of the woods,” said Producing Artistic Director Ryan B. Gibbs. “It’s upbeat, offbeat, and designed to feel like a vacation without the travel. These shows are for people who love great music, great company, and a night out with personality.”
Audience members have already shared their excitement for the upcoming event, describing it as “like a cruise ship show parked in your backyard.” Another attendee raved, “The chemistry, the music, the laughs—it’s everything you want from a night out.” A third summed it up: “It’s like your favorite jukebox and your funniest friend had a show together.”
Whether belting out Billy Joel or dancing along to ABBA, guests can expect a midweek escape packed with joy and musical surprises. Tickets are available at the Totem Pole Playhouse website or by calling the box office, but with only two shows, organizers are urging fans not to “miss the boat.”
