GREENCASTLE – No charges are expected in an Oct. 13 pedestrian accident on North Antrim Way in Greencastle, police reported Friday.
The pedestrian, identified as Sydney Barnes, sustained critical injuries in the incident and was transported to Hershey Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Ms. Barnes succumbed to her injuries on Oct. 20, police said.
The Greencastle Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Barnes during this difficult time.
After a thorough investigation conducted with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police and other first responder agencies, it has been determined that no charges will be filed in connection with this incident.
The department thanked all agencies, personnel and the good samaritans who assisted at the scene and throughout the investigation.
