HAGERSTOWN – Meritus Health has announced that Alyssa James, M.D., recently joined Meritus Allergy & Asthma Specialists.
Dr. James will be joining Seemal Awan, M.D., at the practice, 1125 Diamond Drive in Hagerstown.
Dr. James received her Doctor of Medicine degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Fla.
She completed her residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and a fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, Maryland.
She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.
