WAYNESBORO – The Rev. Steven R. Sheldon will be the guest speaker at the annual Veterans Day memorial service at Green Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the cemetery, 953 S. Potomac St. In case of rain, the service will be held at Otterbein Church, 912 S. Potomac St.
Sheldon, a native of Waynesboro, served as a U.S. Navy radioman from 1972 to 1976. After 43 years in the ministry, he and his wife, Kathy, retired to Waynesboro in 2019.
The names of veterans added to the Veterans Memorial during 2025 will be announced.
