WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County has received a $25,000 donation from M&T Bank to support the construction of its 63rd home on Katie Lane in Waynesboro.
The donation will help bring another family closer to achieving safe, affordable housing — a key part of Habitat’s mission across Franklin County and the surrounding region. The project, currently underway, exemplifies the organization’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communities through volunteer-driven homebuilding initiatives.
Representatives from both organizations gathered recently to mark the contribution. Pictured from left are Allison Weaver, branch manager; Mark Story, Habitat advancement director; Patrick Mulherin, senior vice president and business banking senior relationship manager II; and Gail D’Angelo, senior vice president and regional CRA manager.
M&T Bank’s contribution reinforces a long tradition of corporate support for community development in Franklin County and neighboring areas such as Washington County and Chambersburg. Together, Habitat and M&T Bank continue to invest in the future of Franklin County one home at a time.
