CHAMBERSBURG – United Way of Franklin County is partnering with First Ed Credit Union to provide a workshop called Credit and Savings Made Simple on July 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at United Way’s office, 182 S. Second St.
Credit and Savings Made Simple is the first session of a series called Money Matters. The goal of Money Matters sessions is to provide information and resources to help members of the community to achieve financial security.
This session will provide information about how to build credit and grow savings, using practical approaches that can work, even when inflation and economic circumstances are working against families. The ability to establish good credit and build savings are foundational steps toward the long-term financial stability of most families.
Presenter, Doug Harmon, business development manager with First Ed Credit Union, will equip participants with up-to-date, practical knowledge to make smart money moves in today’s financial world, event officials said.
