WAYNE HEIGHTS- The Washington Township Police Department recently closed the medication disposal drop box and sharps collection box. They were located at the Washington Township Police Department and will be temporarily closed until the police department moves into a new building in the next few months.
Until the police department is able to reopen the box, they encourage the public to drop off unwanted, unused, or expired medications at the Waynesboro Police Department, located at 57 E. Main St. in Waynesboro.
The police department will be relocated to 11798 Buchanan Trail East in Waynesboro.
