WAYNESBORO–Mainstreet Waynesboro’s First Friday movie will be be shown this week.
“The Goonies!” will be shown Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the theater, 75 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
“The Goonies” (PG-1:54) is a 1985 Stephen Spielberg adventure comedy. The film tells the story of a group of kids who live in the “Goon Docks” neighborhood who, in an attempt to save their homes from foreclosure, discover a treasure map that takes them on an adventure.
Tickets are $8 and include popcorn and a drink, thanks to sponsor Linda Barkdoll, of Ronnie Martin Realty.
