HAGERSTOWN, MD — The Washington County Arts Council (WCAC) is calling for artists to submit their best new works for the Annual Community Art Show: The Best Local Art of 2023. The juried exhibition will be on display virtually and in the WCAC gallery from December 7, 2023 through January 2, 2024.
Artists of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to submit up to three entries in any medium. All works must be original and created within the past three years. Submissions are free and the deadline to apply is October 20, 2023.
The Annual Community Art Show is a popular event that showcases the best of local art. In previous years, the show has featured a wide variety of works, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media pieces.
