The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will inspect the McKinley Street bridge spanning Interstate 81 near Chambersburg in Guilford Township next week. The bridge is located between Exit 14 (Wayne Avenue/Route 316) and Exit 16 (Route 30/Lincoln Way). There will be lane restrictions on I-81.
Weather permitting, the inspection will be performed from 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, and Thursday, Feb. 12. There will be alternating right and left lane closures on northbound and southbound I-81.
Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
